Goals

  1. Connect researchers, students, and practitioners on latest issues on intercultural and global competence
  2. Gain awareness and provide feedback on recent ICC work and ICC work in progress
  3. Identify key questions and practitioner needs from researchers and practitioners in advancing the praxis of intercultural and global competence

Characterized by combination of thought-leader panels and short presentations and interaction in breakouts

3:30-4:00 pm – Pre-Forum Networking  – in breakouts
4:00-4:45  pm – Welcome and Plenary Dialogue and Discussion  –  Fons Trompenaars with Darla Deardorff and Craig Storti followed by discussion
4:45-5:30 pm – 2 10 min presentations followed by 10 min of discussion after each presentation (Transcultural Cooperation and Leadership, MENA and Intercultural Competence)
5:30-5:50 pm – Discussion Groups (break outs)
5:50-6:30 pm – Panel Discussion (JEDI and ICC intersectionalities):  Jason Patent (chair), Sandra Ruiz, Fran Baxter, Amer Ahmad
6:30-6:50 pm – Open Forum
