IAIR Conference in New York in June - and ICC Global meeting!

Hello everyone! I'm curious as to who will be attending the IAIR Conference in New York in June... there will be an ICC Symposium there led by Lily Arasaratnam-Smith and myself, with presenters being some of the contributors to the forthcoming book "Intercultural Competence in Higher Education: International Approaches, Application, and Assessment" (Routledge, 2017). I think it would be really good if we can arrange an ICC Global meeting there.

ICC in Malaysia

Dear All,

Is there anyone with an ongoing research in/on Malaysia or nearby? My research topic is based on a European point of view of IC development and its measurement, however I will soon move to Malaysia for longer term, and I would appreciate to have some discussion about broadening my basic approach.

Thanks and best wishes,

ICC Related to International & Domestic Student Perspectives on Local & Global Refugee/Immigration Responses

Does anyone know of sources for ICC research related to refugees/immigrants and empathy? I serve in the field of student development and am responsible for a small population of international students on our campus. Service learning opportunities demands continue to grow in the states but I’d like to develop a special research and service learning project that helps our international students consider how they might apply US community engagement back home.

Intercultural interview questions

I am doing a collective case study on Saudi academic migrants studying graduate Applied Linguistics at my university for my dissertation. I have been afforded the opportunity to perform my research with one male and one female, which to the best of my knowledge would be the first research looking at the development of intercultural competence within this specific population and particularly from the perspective of a Saudi female.
