This is an invitation to submit a case study proposal for how intercultural competence is specifically being developed and assessed in a course or program at your higher education institution. This can be from any discipline and can include both courses as well as extracurricular programs targeted to students, administrators or academic staff . Please forward this to interested academic staff/faculty who are addressing intercultural competence in their courses.

Selected case study proposals (chosen from a wide range of geographic areas, disciplines, and institutions) will be invited to submit a full case study (2000 word maximum, including references) and will be published in the forthcoming book "Intercultural Competence in International Higher Education" ( Routledge) edited by Deardorff & Arasaratnam-Smith. This is part of the Routledge Internationalisation book series with series editor Elspeth Jones.

To submit a case study proposal, please email Dr. Darla Deardorff at d.deardorff@duke.edu for a 1-page Word template that must be completed for submission. Completed Word document proposals must be submitted no later than Feb. 15 to the email addresses on the template. All case study proposals must be submitted using the Word template.
